Why I have joined the Labour Party 🌹| Vol.4

If you follow me on Twitter, tonight I have announced that I joined the Labour Party. It took many days and weeks contemplating this decision – but today I made it official. I have a conservative MP, and weeks ago I wrote to him asking what more can be done to support people with long term medical conditions. Has he replied? No. That proves my point. My MP and the Conservative Party, don’t care about the people – they care about saving their jobs. The Conservative Party and government do not represent my views – and in my eyes the views of the British people. So much in fact that polling suggests Labour will win the next general election. Under 50s have abandoned the Tories – they’ve gone too far. I’ve never been a conservative supporter – but today I wanted that official. I may not agree with everyone in the Labour Party – but that’s democracy. This was only a short blog post however I am elated by my decision.

Also, let me make this clear. I may get hate by the decision I have taken – however I don’t care. For one I stood up and took an action to fight and represent my views – and no one will stop me doing that.
